In 2010, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, founding member, singer and bassist of the British rock band Motörhead came up with the idea to create a wine that should be hard and complex - just like a great rock sound.
Since the end of 2010, Motörhead Shiraz is produced in the South Australian Hunter Valley. The rich wine has a very fruity aroma with flavours of vanilla, blackberries, plums, eucalyptus and liquorice. It is full-bodied with soft rounded tannins and packs a real punch. Before you enjoy this great Shiraz, you might want to take an advice from Lemmy: "Approach it with caution. I mean, wine is deceptive, anything can happen."
