History

The history of the company can be traced back to 1866. Carlos Lamoth and Fernando Jiménez founded the "Bodegas Jimenez y Lamothe", an association of their wineries, after which they founded one of the largest distilleries in Spain. Wine from La Mancha became first-class brandy and by distilling aniseed spirits and other spirits they soon gained a firm place on the market. When a gin joined the market in 1933, Larios Gin was born.
