Jameson Crested
Jameson Crested is a blended whiskey from Ireland. It consists of different single malts from the Midleton distillery. These are exclusively single malts, which matured between 10 and 12 years in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso casks (sherry).
Production
Jameson Crested, now also known as Jameson Crested Ten, is a triple distilled whiskey. It differs from the typical Jameson Whiskeys because the proportion of Oloroso sherry cask blends in its production is significantly higher. Of course, this affects its taste as well as its aroma.
Aroma
It is a wonderful interplay of different fragrances that is expressed during the nosing of Jameson Crested. The nose catches impressions of fruit while the aromatic palette is rounded off with vanilla and caramel. The result is a harmonious and complex composition.
Taste
The taste of Jameson Crested is particularly soft with sweet tones of dried fruit and sherry. During the further tasting, notes of dark chocolate emerge and complete the taste.
Finish
The medium long and soft finish shows the last impressions of oak and fruity notes and says goodbye to the palate with a lot of elegance and expressiveness.
