The drink comes from Indiana where its original form had been manufactured by the family Pepper. By now the Georgetown Trading Company has overtaken the production of the whiskey and streamlined the original recipe. The result is the delicious 1776 Bourbon Whiskey, which is made without the use of cool filtration, thus making it a real trendsetter. The drink with the rather strong alcohol level of 50% is pleasantly sweet without coming on too strong. It comes with aromas of honey, vanilla, toffee, spices and dark chocolate. The jury of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2013 was completely amazed by the 1776 Bourbon Whiskey and awarded it the highly coveted double gold medal!
