Cabo Wabo Tequila is the brand of famous rock star Sammy Hagar. Founded by Hagar in the late nineties, the brand has become one of the best-selling tequila brands in the United States.
Cabo Wabo Añejo is matured in American oak barrels for 14 months. The amber-golden tequila presents a full vanilla and caramel nose that quickly gives way to woody notes on the palate complemented by hints of honey and chocolate. A long, delicate finish completes the experience, and makes this tequila a drink best enjoyed on its own.
Among other awards, Cabo Wabo Añejo won the Double Gold Medal at the 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
