Brewdog Punk IPA is a true India Pale Ale. The history of this particular sort of Ale has a long tradition in Great Britain. In the 19th century the beer had to be preserved somehow to ship it to the Indian colonies. This is how the Brits came up with the special recipe for an IPA: by adding more hops than usual and making the beer stronger, the ales made it to India without expiring. This British tradition is now brought to you by the Scottish brand Brewdog with their Punk IPA. Upon opening the bottle, the beer presents a scent of fruit. On the palate you'll experience notes of mango and peach which make the Punk IPA smoother than other IPAs.
